The Client

LaserComm, Inc., is a leading supplier of telecommunications equipment. Their innovative design and technology improve and increase the bandwidth available to transmit information

The Opportunity

LaserComm needed to significantly upgrade their management systems capabilities in order to meet their current and future business challenges. These challenges included implementing an ERP solution in a “start-up” environment. A solution had to be developed that fit current and future business models after significant expansion and met the needs of the rapidly changing telecommunications industry.

The Solution

Logan Consulting helped LaserComm select and implement a proven ERP solution. Logan Consulting was responsible for project management, technical and functional support and business process design throughout the selection and implementation.

LaserComm, Inc. implemented precise serial and lot control to meet the requirements of the telecommunications environment. Detailed and precise procedures were need to ensure shop personnel conformed to these stringent and important requirements.

Core functionality including manufacturing, distribution and financials, as well as after-market service and support were implemented. The after-market service and support functionality and related business processes ensured that LaserComm could identify and service their product once installed at a customer’ site.
